A 7 Figure Agency Creation - My First Full Year and a Half in Business

The Highlights.

  • It doesn’t make much sense to go into agreement with anxiety, fear, confusion.
  • The emotional reaction someone decides to have to a situation or external influence has little influence with my trajectory.
  • I already know what the right thing to do is and I do it.
  • I can sense and know when someone is actually communicating something positive or truthful, or just downright trying to one-up, lie, injure or show off, the latter I remove.
  • The removal of troublesome or individuals who cause trouble leads to massive spikes in sales/income.

Those above are highlights. At this present time I am sitting in First Class flying to Chicago then onto Sioux Falls for a commercial advertising shoot. The article I’m writing is an advanced check in on my world in business. At this time I am running a 4 month straight up graph of income and sales since January 2021 and it continues to rise. I have hired a team

of 6 to deliver and currently deliver the work of 20. We are ninjas, seal team six, getting the job done every-time, this agency I built is a 7 figure business in 12 months servicing clients all across the board big budgets, little budgets, lead generation, branding, video production, website design, funnel design and more.

When I write something, I’m not trying to portray myself as an expert, I write and communicate what I do. Practicality, immediate application and results is what I want and what I see every day. To walk and ethical line, to deliver and increase sales and production is what I want. I’m ethics obsessed because that’s a long lasting play, that’s survival. I recognize that my business thrives or dives

Solely based on my own approach, attitude, responsibility and if I see it as me always creating whatever happens I can correct it or enhance it. I blame no one, I blame no external circumstance I am the performer and I judge myself accordingly to my performance.

I remember when I broke the 7 figure mark. As that number inched closer and closer I said here it is. Then it happened and I moved on. There wasn’t a party or fanfare, it was just a number. No what I was really proud of was that I was able to donate to my church in the last year was the same amount as my entire yearly salary I had at my last job. During an economic shutdown and pandemic. I just produced, sold, helped and repeated. Everything was integrated and production was paramount. I had left a familiar world to swan dive into my own business, and it was the best decision I ever made. Everything in my terms, my own creation, my own ethics and in charge, my own granting of beingness to myself and to what I know I can do.

I studied, I trained over and over and over to be better for my team, to be better for my clients and to be better for you. I walk a hard line of ethics and perspective because I need to predict futures, prevent disasters and increase expansion. Phone call after phone call, video and advertisement, posts and stories, advances and rocket rides came from a simple desire of placing myself in full acceptance of my decisions and what I observe. I don’t second guess or make excuses for what I see, I see it. I in turn follow this viewpoint and help as many people as I can.

I see what everyone tries to do, and then I go outside where no one is and accelerate ahead. I don’t follow trends, or the latest craze, I follow the path to income and to prosperity. The advice I take is one that enhances my life and the lives of my clients and employees. I don’t wander aimlessly, I don’t listen to a lot of different pieces of information because most of the time I know what to do. Everything is strict, tracked and regimented, I cannot course correct what I leave un-observed.

Nothing works or accelerates without a correct process for delivery and solving problems. The next year will be accelerating, and exciting.

On Innovative Social Content Creation: Meet Robert Syslo Jr. The Man Behind It - The Chicago Weekly News

Robert Syslo Jr., a native of Lakewood, New Jersey, is the founder and CEO of Syslo Ventures, an advertising, marketing, and production company that does high quality video production, social media management and advertising, and brand development and design.

Syslo Ventures serves 350 clients worldwide and is dedicated to continual development and learning. The company was founded after Robert Syslo made the switch from his previous job and decided to focus on building his own business. But it took him some time to get there.

Robert was attracted to video production and communication from a very young age. He found the ability to create an effect with videos, design, lightning or music very compelling.

“Since I was 14 years old I was involved in a project at school where we had to film and edit a period piece, the 60s.  From there I saw the kids who edited this together. And I was hooked.” Robert shares.

Out of high school, Robert got an internship in New York City and then started college. But he was unhappy there so he dropped out and drove to New Mexico, where he ended up being hired by NBC Universal and Hilton to film 60 locations around the state and develop advertisements.

After some time, Robert decided to move to Los Angeles and try his work there, but he was also in a relationship that ended up causing him great distress and mental anguish. He ended up homeless and in search of resources for victims of domestic violence.

“I found a support group in Trinidad and Tobago, the last island in the Caribbean. They helped me everyday to get stable.” Robert adds. “I ended up selling my car and took a one-way ticket there, but that experience did not end well and I was back on the streets.”

Fortunately, a friend of his in the island introduced Robert to someone who ran a video store. He got a job there and saved enough to move to Miami, where he lived in single rooms with multiple people for months.

No Time For Competition: Robert Syslo Jr, Founder And CEO Of Syslo Ventures, Conquers The Production World

From a rough home to dropping out of college, to homelessness and bad relationships, Robert Syslo Jr has faced it all in his pursuit of conquering the film industry. Today, he is proud to be the founder and CEO of Syslo Ventures. His advertising, marketing, and production company specializing in everything from high-end video production, social media management, social media advertising, brand development, branding and promotion training, website design, and graphic design. They currently service over 350 clients worldwide.

While living in Miami, Robert landed a gig off of Craigslist that jump-started his whole career. The job was with Grant Cardone, and it exposed him to the world of high life living, luxury jets, and entrepreneurs and successful business owners. It was then that everything clicked into place.

"I realized this is what I was missing - business skills. I also got involved in personal development. As I was helping film and create for Cardone, I learned sales and quickly became one of the top producers there. Being exposed to all these entrepreneurs and successful business people got me inspired. I began to wonder if I could do this on my own. The decision to leave began to come into view. I had thought about it before, but didn't know if I could handle it," Robert recalls.

Robert left his job with Grant Cardone to set out on his own. One year and 8 months later, Robert is currently reaching around 3 million people per month, and was listed as one of the top business leaders to follow in 2020 by Yahoo Finance. His online training program, Promotion Secrets Revealed, is an accretion of everything that needs to be fixed for marketing and the solutions that provide results, without the need for a Ferrari or Private Jet. Robert has personally trained over 400 people per week on coaching calls.  See full article here on Yahoo Finance

USA Today - The Founder And CEO Of Syslo Ventures, An Advertising, Marketing And Production Company That Continues To Grow Despite The Pandemic

Robert Syslo is the founder and CEO of Syslo Ventures, an advertising, marketing and production company. Having been through hardships for most of his life, Robert learned how to hustle and thrive.

Robert was born in Lakewood, New Jersey, and after high school he got an internship in New York City with Michael Mailer Films where he was introduced to the film industry. This was followed by having to suffer through the divorce of his parents and eventually being unhappy in college and dropping out.

“I dropped out and drove across the country to New Mexico. The state offered great tax incentives for film so I felt like I could get in the industry there. I was hired by NBC Universal and the Hilton to film 60 locations around New Mexico and develop ads for those locations, restaurants, hotels, resorts, and so on. Soon after that, I wanted to try my hand at working in Los Angeles and ended up moving there.” Robert shares.

But in Los Angeles Robert found himself in a situation that unfortunately caused him great distress–homelessness. In his search to get out of that unfortunate situation, he ended up working on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

“I found a group that I didn’t realize was in Trinidad and Tobago, the last island in the Caribbean. They helped me work every day on what was happening and how I could stabilize myself. I ended up selling my car and took a one-way ticket there. I jumped from island to island between Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada trying to make things right, but I ended up back on the streets with nowhere to go.” Robert recounts.

How Doing the Right Thing, Resulted in the Highest Sales for My Company, During COVID-19

How Doing the Right Thing, Resulted in the Highest Sales for My Company, During COVID-19

During the COVID-19 crisis when it first started to occur I watched as some top level entrepreneurs and businesses all started to retreat. People were losing their jobs, people were panicking about income, the news was very tough to watch, so much so that I stopped watching all news and social media related to it.  I remember I sat with my Vice President, Damon Perez, and I told him here is our first big test as a company - what are we going to do to survive this?  At that time the SBA Loans were coming available and I consulted several financial experts on whether or not it was necessary to do it.

After much deliberation I decided against doing it and that I was going to do what I know best, promote hard, deliver great service and shure up every aspect of my company.  What that resulted in, during the crisis, was the biggest and highest levels of sales and expansion for my company.  April 2020 we had our highest month ever in sales company history, May 2020 we did it again and beat April to have our highest month ever in company history, and this month in June 2020 we beat May again for our highest month ever.  All of my employees received their paychecks and all clients were given above excellent service.

We did all the right things, did not BUY into the fear, we did not buy into the chaos. We walked the ethical line and made sure everything we said we were going to do we did, every call was as straight as you could make it with no deviations. Problems were handled efficiently and rapidly to focus on production and sales. We continue to this day. We flourished and prospered, while helping millions of people through free content take the information we use for marketing to help them get out of their situation.

From 0 to 200+ Clients in 10 Months - Robert Syslo Jr

It has been an interesting 10 months. Stepping out on my own I still hold dearly as the best decision I have come to make in my life. While that decision was an anguishing one it’s done. Today with a staff of 5 and a client base of over 200, my company became profitable, literally from day one. I took no loans for Syslo Ventures, and asked no one to invest in it. I just picked up my phone and started calling people and businesses.

When I got focused and really started to pay attention to what I was good at what was merely done for survival turned into a profitable high six figure business. I decided to not venture off in directions that seemed great, that offered an allure and stuck to my true qualities and what I am good at. Yet being an entrepreneur, now business owner with employees the game is very different then when I started with myself. I find myself hustling to ensure my employees are protected and my clients are protected. The hours worked are unfathomable and I used to read stories and listen to other entrepreneurs talk about this, until experienced there was no real way to grasp it.

What’s funny right now is that I am so focused on the business, on my employees, on delivering for my clients I found myself wondering where do I stand in relationship to other companies that have started? That was a strange sensation. What barometer do I have for this to know how well I was doing. I spent the extra money on employees and started delegating. I track every single item down to the T, this includes how many social posts, daily income, customers acquired, reach on social platforms, phone calls, sales, product value delivered. And the only thing I see month over month is lines reaching to the sky on all my graphs. Week over week I watch as I crush goals and have increases in the 400%+ percentiles. Again there is no real barometer. Then I realized, why do I need one? I simply need to reinforce what I have been doing for the last 10 months and expand again.

It is crazy to think that the amount of income is 5x what I ever have made in my life, yet I don’t get excited about it. To me income and wealth allows me to handle issues, expand and reinvest in my business and invest in my company. I would force expansion. I would sell, sell, sell and put myself in a position where I needed to hire to deliver. I would focus on the income, then expand and then repeat. I still do this. I Figured out this technique when I was working as a sales director at my last position. I would grind for 90 days as myself until I got to a point I literally could not deliver this on my own anymore. So I would oversell expand and work twice the hours to ensure no loss of production occurred. I would stabilize and then do it again. I am going into my third cycle of expansion now and realize I have many more to go.

When analyzing my stats, I saw a huge increase when my non-compete lifted. This was a definite turning point for me. While the business was profitable from day one when I started to push on it and got my head straight, six months after quitting my job, when the noncompete lifted the stats shot through the roof and I couldn’t believe the condition of power achieved. I attribute that to doing the right things and producing always and spending close to 18 hours+ a week on my own development. I even ask myself how I have time for that. But if I didn’t do this piece, I would not be able to handle everything that comes connected to running a company.

I woke up this morning and thought I need to write this out and get it out my head. I find writing, promotion, and videos help me remove and identify areas where the success has happened and where I still need to improve. I wrote an article my first 90 days as an entrepreneur, this is more of a 10 month check in for myself. There are moments when I am extremely proud and then there are moments where I am “WTF”. When those moments happen, I immediately return to the fundamentals of promotion, sales calls and delivery. It just reinforces the moment and grounds the situation. I compare myself to no one, and literally hold in my mind that I exist in a different strata than anyone else. That may sound vain, it’s more of a reality point. I am me, my business is me and my direction is my own. To compare and look, is a waste of production time and energy. The only way I got to where I am now, completely debt free and expanding my employees was done on pure focus and reinforcement. A really proud moment for me was when I paid my employees first salary and sales commission it was nearly 5K on top of a base salary. I was amazed! I was proud and honored to be able to help someone achieve this.

The end goal of this is really just a different perspective and viewpoint on where I am and what I am seeing from the day to day. From 0 - to 5 employees and over 200 clients, is absolutely incredible and it is done and achieved through the right ethics and the right level of action. Barometers aren’t really required as I thought to myself. What really matters is the constant progression. For an artist I sure pay attention to my numbers, at least 6 to 8 times a day I am looking at every statistic and number connected to my production and the production of the company. I didn’t think I had that ability but as the days progressed I realized it was a vital survival necessity.

I’ll write another article like this in a few months. But from 0 to this, is quite incredible.
